Over the course of nearly six years of development, China Unicom has established the world's largest and fastest 5G co-construction and sharing network, achieving ubiquitous high-speed experiences with downlink speeds exceeding 5Gbps and uplink speeds surpassing 1Gbps. China Unicom is fully accelerating the upgrade to 5G-Advanced (5G-A) networks, creating the world's largest mid-frequency bandwidth TDD carrier aggregation and TDD+FDD carrier aggregation capabilities. During the 9th Asian Winter Games, China Unicom demonstrated millimeter-wave carrier aggregation, achieving 10Gbps 5G-A network capabilities.

China Unicom continues to build a brand image that is innovative, secure, and trustworthy, driving network development through technological innovation and advancing the upgrade of capabilities in "high-speed connectivity, lightweight connectivity, deterministic connectivity, intelligent connectivity, and all-domain connectivity." China Unicom will accelerate the deployment of high-speed broadband networks, achieving carrier aggregation coverage in key scenarios across 300 cities. China Unicom will promote the development of RedCap across all frequency bands , building a comprehensive ecosystem of devices, networks, and platforms to achieve nationwide urban RedCap network coverage, serving industrial, video, power, and automotive applications.

 Focusing on key sectors such as power and equipment, China Unicom will continue to deepen the integration of 5G-A deterministic capabilities into core production processes, enabling large-scale replication of deterministic networks to support enterprise digital transformation.Building on the strengths of cellular networks, such as "large capacity, high speed, and superior experience", China Unicom will collaborate with high-orbit satellite companies, accelerate the development of unified NTN standards, and actively explore low-orbit constellation technology verification. This will help build "always-on, never-disconnected" services. Additionally, China Unicom will accelerate the integration of 5G and AI to enhance network self-intelligence capabilities for intelligent network operation and service assurance. By improving network intelligence to support intelligent applications, China Unicom will promote the development of an integrated "connectivity-intelligence" ecosystem, enabling ubiquitous intelligent computing and high-speed connectivity, and continuously driving the evolution of 5G-A networks toward new advancements.
