The second series of the World Chinese Medicine Forum in 2024-Advanced Clinical Training Series for Dermatologists by Famous Chinese Medicine Experts was successfully held in November and December 2024. This series of special trainings consisted of 2 lectures, conducted by the combination of bilingual live broadcast and recorded broadcast, and attracted more than 200 Chinese medicine practitioners from all over the world.

The World Chinese Medicine Forum is an independent and non-profit academic exchange platform. The purpose of the forum is to focus on the latest developments in the field of modern research in TCM, cutting-edge development trends in disciplines and research hotspots, and to serve the academic discussion and development of the TCM industry.

The forum was established in 2022 and is hosted by Tianjiang Pharmaceutical, Healoonow and Blue Light. Inc., and co-organized by a total of 27 North American TCM institutions including ASA (American Acupuncture Association), CSOMA (California Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine), FSOMA (Florida Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine), NCSAAM (North Carolina Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association), NYCTCM (New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine), etc.

So far, five series of academic activities by World Chinese Medicine forum were successfully held, covering TCM advantage aspect including gynecology, pediatrics, spleen and stomach, dermatology, pain, etc. The forum has a wide coverage area, with participants coming from 14 countries and regions including the United States, China, Canada, Portugal, Slovakia, India, Mexico, and Australia, of which 60%-70% are not ethnic Chinese.

Highlights of the second series in 2024

This season's forum focused on the safety use of Chinese herbal medicine, with renowned domestic TCM experts providing in-depth explanations on the scientific usage methods and clinical practice experiences of Chinese herbal medicine, which brought about valuable guidance for the standardized use of Chinese herbal medicine and enhanced overseas practitioners' understanding of its safety and efficacy. The successful hosting of this forum has laid a solid foundation for promoting the safety use of TCM and its international development.

The successful conclusion of the Global Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Forum 2024 Second Season series of events not only highlights the increased influence and recognition of TCM overseas but also injects new momentum into the international development of TCM. Through high-level academic exchanges and professional training, this forum has provided a valuable learning platform for overseas TCM practitioners, promoting the dissemination and application of TCM knowledge. Looking ahead, Tianjiang Pharmaceutical will continue to be committed to advancing TCM academic research and clinical practice, working hand in hand with the international TCM community to make greater contributions to human health.
